This place is home. Small town amazing people. The owners are the sweetest people in the world. The bartenders are the best people to spend your time with. Love it here ! Born and raised in this town and this place has always been the go to !
Its Commonly known as just a bar but this one will suprise you with an actual sanitary restaurant kitchen. This one is an actual restaurant dramatically increasing the odds your food will be sanitary. NOT gas station food. It’s a family restaurant.
My review may be a little biased because I Love this Place and the Owners/Servers that go above and beyond here! No smoking inside as this place is family/child friendly, however, Smoking permitted on patios located in front and back (Back is heated). Featuring a brand new stage for music events, 3 nicely maintained pool tables, 2 Dartboards, Cornhole boards, and Front Row parking for Bikes, This place sits 5 minutes from lake/park access on S.R 42. and is inviting to ALL. Food options are GREAT Breakfast&Dinner! 5STAR PIZZA, Wings, Fried/grilled Tenderloin, Strombolis, Fried pickles etc... With seasonal options and daily specials you may just have to call ahead to hear of the latest menu additions. Great place to come watch the game as there's plenty of flat-screens to keep your eyes on from almost any standing point. Pool tournament/Karaoke every Fri.@ 7pm and 8/9ball tournaments everySun. At 2pm. Dart tournaments Sat. Pull tabs, Queen of hearts and many raffles to be won. This place always has something going on to be excited for.
My Uncle LOVED this place! It was his request to hold a Celebration of Life for him when he passed away. Owner Shonna was so kind and helpful...her daughter Jasmine met with me to make food choices and to discuss the event. Deb had been a long-time friend of my Uncle Dougs and she helped with a variety of things during the get together. Tammy prepared and served our pizzas and bread sticks. This is the reason my Uncle loved going here, they genuinely cared about him. I cannot say enough good thi is about the great food, excellent service and caring these ladies showed. We held the Celebration of Life in the dining area adjacent to the bar. Every single thing was planned ahead, well thought out..and I owe it to Shonna and the wonderful people Ive named. Losing him was SO hard and he will be SO missed but I am eternally grateful for helping me make everything happen. The Pizzas are excellent! They offer plenty of other options too. We first stepped into Cataract lake lodge on July 17 of 2024. Although we didn't visit much at first we soon became members of the cataract lake lodge family. Friday night kareoke with Rocking Randy has been a great addition to our enjoyment. But that's not all the employees, regulars, friends and family has made cateract lake lodge the place to be for us. Yes I am an employee of cateract lake lodge and I wouldn't have it another way. We love you all and look forward to many more days with the cateract lake lodge family. Hope to see many more new comers at cateract lake lodge.
